Basic IT Trainer

Main tasks:
 Helping people within the community on a weekly basis to access / use digital devices such as tablets, mobile phones and PC’s via small group sessions
 Helping people to build confidence and self- esteem by using popular digital technology.
 To keep a good record of your work and completing relevant forms.
 Adhere to our policies and procedures at all times especially with regard to safeguarding vulnerable people.
 To attend induction and training sessions.


Essential criteria
 Ability to use computers and IT equipment / digital devices such as tablets, mobile phones and PCs.
 Have worked/understand the needs of diverse communities.
 Confident to pass on digital skills in a friendly and supportive manner.
 Be an excellent listener, empathetic, caring, patient, reliable and respectful of confidential information/ data.
 Must be over 18 years of age.
 Available to contact during day times Monday- Friday.
 Have a positive attitude and can remain calm in challenging situations.
 Ability to keep notes and report back
 Good verbal and written communication skills..
 A commitment to equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practices.
 Being approachable, mindful, non- judgmental and have a great sense of humour.
 6 months minimum commitment required.
