The Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution are looking for fun and committed volunteer administrators to assist with their STEM and Science Youth Activities Programme.

BRLSI run fun packed science workshops for young people and potential volunteers alongside their administrative skills must be confident and happy working both with the public and as part of a team. The workshops take place every second Saturday of the month and volunteers will need to be available for these days on a regular and ongoing basis. we are looking for up to four administrators to take roles such as volunteer or family registration, fire officer etc. BRLSI are also looking for further support in the week to assist with the administration of the Youth activities programme.

These roles would be especially suitable for those interested in making a difference in the education or charitable sector.

All volunteers after initial training will require an active DBS certificate. Free STEM Ambassador training and DBS training can be supplied by the institution.

Working with Youth activities offers volunteers much fun and the rewards of being and integral part of a wider team making a great difference to the lives of young people and their local community. The BRLSI offer many events and trips especially for their volunteers and send out regular volunteer news by way of their newsletter. BRLSI are happy to assist volunteers with references and CV building.
