The Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution is a charity promoting advancement in the arts and sciences. With the commitment and energy of our wonderful volunteers, The Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution has become a centre of cultural activity open to all.
We are currently looking for help with our website. We need help populating the site, making sure all information is relevant and up to date. We require an individual who is confident creating and populating images on websites. We require somebody with a very high level of written English, since the role will involve writing content on behalf of the institution.
Ideally we are looking for someone with skills in Content Management Systems, such as Drupal, which is the current platform we use for our website, but if you do not have this but are adept at working on web content, then please apply anyway. The most important thing is to be proficient in Microsoft office, especially Word and Publisher, and have a high standard of literacy. This is an opportunity to become an active member of our website commitee, and be involved in decision making within the institution.
This is an opportunity for someone very creative to expand their skillset and build their CV. We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills and an interest in the arts and the sciences. It is important to be able to work as a part of a large team, and to feel confident communicating ideas and opinions.
You may give us as much or as little time as you like , so long as you are reliable. In return for your time, we offer regular social events for our volunteers. We are committed to helping and supporting the career development of our volunteers where we can.
