Interested in an exciting trustee opportunity where you can really make a difference?

Are you looking to give back to the community while maximising your skills and feeling like you add value to a well-established yet evolving charity?

We are Bedford and District Cerebral Palsy Society (BDCPS) – registered charity no 1156447 – and we are highly regarded as a champion of the individual. We enable people with complex disabilities and their families to live life their way.

Now in our 70th year as a charity, we make a tangible difference in the lives of the young people and families we support. We aspire to leave a positive imprint on our community, and you could help us continue to do that. We are seeking new and creative ways to serve our community and are progressing a number of transformational initiatives and changes to further develop our long-standing excellent reputation.

If you believe you could add value to our board of trustees, be an agent for change and/or bring an analytical approach to problem solving, we would love to hear from you. We have a couple of opportunities, including someone with a legal background to maintain our mix of skills following the retirement of a long serving trustee.

Please contact our chair Paul Lockyer for an informal conversation or share your details by email to chair@bdcps.org.uk.
