Depending on skills and preferences, tasks may include:
• Basic DIY tasks, such as internal general repairs, replacing shelves, hanging / moving notice boards, filling, painting etc.
• Carry out minor repairs to external facilities and assist with landscaping repairs.
. Assist with moving goods around the site - possibly including items such as furniture.
. Assembly and repair of furniture or similar items eg flatpack.
• Clear weeds from the roadways and paved courtyard areas
• Keep cobwebs clear around doors/tops of windows etc
• Maintain areas, including drainage clearance, pathways, car park, and steps.
• Assist gardeners with tasks, such as digging, cutting down bushes and shrubs
• Treat pathways every 2-3 months with algae treatment
• General grounds care including use of strimmers, mowers, hedge cutters.
• Carry out any other grounds work when required.
. Possibly assist with set-up and pack-up of events at the Bedford site.
