Stampede (5-12) & JJ's Crew (13-17) are specialist youth clubs for young people with complex disabilities and a high level of medical need. Activities are fun and varied, ranging from arts & crafts, sports & games, cooking & nature activities, themed sessions, music & sensory play. At Stampede we focus on breaking down barriers through play while JJ's Crew offers teenagers a chance to spend quality time together while learning new things and promoting independence.

Art & Craft, Cleaning & Tidying

Experience with disabled children/children useful but not essential. Enthusiasm, patience, good listening/communication skills, and a willingness to join in. Ability to bring the fun.

Opportunity to learn new skills while enabling others to have fun, meet new people and do something different.

First Saturday on the month, term time only

Stampede & JJ's Crew are based in a special school so level access, toilets, hoists etc are already there. Information can be provided in a variety of formats. If you need something that we are not already doing just let us know.

Volunteer Centre  Covid Safe

PPE is available at all sessions, and training is provided. LFT tests are required of those who are able to take them. Government guidelines are followed. Our Covid safe policy and actions are regularly reviewed to ensure good practice and safety.
