Finance Manager

We are a small non profit that encourages the wellbeing of children & families through creative and therapeutic interventions.

We require someone to manage overall finances and be a part of our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Handle prepayments, accruals, and deferred revenue entries.
Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and accuracy of payments.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights and analysis.
Conduct financial accounting activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Manage corporation tax filings and compliance requirements.
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Finance & Accountancy

Admin, Bookkeeping & Finance, Organising & Planning

Qualifications and Experience: Candidates with AAT certification as an Accounting Technician will be considered - or someone who is currently studying their AAT. Qualified By Experience (QBE) candidates with significant relevant experience will also be considered. Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in accounting principles and practices. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
