The Board of Trustee’s main role is to ensure that Headway Luton meets its legal duties, remains solvent and is well run. We set the strategic direction of the organisation and support the management team with the implementation of agreed operational objectives. We also look at innovative ways to raise awareness of acquired brain injury and our services. We are looking for people who have: Good communication skills. A creative mind and have good independent judgment. The ability to work effectively within the team. The ability to evaluate and interpret information and think creatively. The necessary skills to understand and accept legal duties, responsibilities and liabilities of trusteeship.

To help steer the direction of Headway Luton as we approach our 25th anniversary. To support an important and well regarded small charity. To use your skills and knowledge to help us move forward and grow.

We hold meetings once a month, typically on a Thursday 4:30pm to 6:30pm on Alma Street, Luton. Some meetings are held on MSTeams. There is occasional work, thinking and researching needed outside of these hours.
