What you will be doing

Do you have a passion for coaching and want to make a difference across the netball community in Bedfordshire?

We are looking for a Coaching Lead to join our Bedfordshire County Netball Committee – someone who can help us develop, plan and grow coaching opportunities across all leagues and age groups in the County

Skills Description

• A passion for coaching and coach development • Strong organisational and communication skills • Ideally some coaching experience and knowledge of coaching pathways • A collaborative, proactive mindset – we are all here to support each other You do not need to be an expert or qualified to the highest level – just enthusiastic about helping others develop and ensuring coaching thrives in Bedfordshire.

How Long Do I Have To Volunteer For?

You need to commit to a regular volunteering opportunity of around an hour a week. The table below shows the commitment required for each level of the DofE.

Bronze

Minimum time: 3 or 6 months

You must do one of your volunteering, Physical or Skills sections for 6 months, the others for 3.

Silver

Minimum time: 6 or 12 months

If you heven't achieved your Bronze Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 12 months.

Gold

Minimum time: 12 or 18 months

If you heven't achieved your Silver Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 18 months.
