We need to raise around £8 million every year to provide our excellent care services – that is over £22,000 every single day! Our 38 charity shops play a vital part in this - selling good quality donated items at competitive prices - with our Distribution Centre being the hub of operations. Here we get the right stock to the right shops so that they can continue raising money for seriously ill adults and children.

Keech Hospice welcomes applications from all sectors of our diverse communities and from all backgrounds. We particularly welcome applications from those who are currently under-represented at different levels within the charity. Specific focus will be on the following skills, knowledge and experience.

We will give you all the training and support you need so you will develop your skills as part of our E-commerce Department team. You don’t need to have any experience – we’ve got you covered. The specific skills required will depend on the tasks you get involved with, but expectations/skills needed include:

Expectations
18 years or older only
Specialist knowledge or interest in antiques, stamps, coins, designer wear, collectables, jewellery, cameras, mobile phones, and/or tablets
Basic IT skills, including e-commerce sites for example eBay
Work well in a team, and on own initiative when required
Polite and courteous to donors, members of the public, other volunteers, and staff
Reliable, committed, dependable, and flexible
Be aware of responsibility for your own and others safety
