Volunteer – Enquiries Support Officer

Do you enjoy helping people and being the first friendly voice they hear?
Join us as a volunteer Enquiries Support Officer and play a key role in responding to calls, messages, and emails from the public.
You’ll help local people by listening to their queries, signposting them to the most appropriate services for their individual needs, and recording their feedback so it can make a difference. This role is perfect if you’re a good communicator and want to support people in a meaningful way.
Time commitment: Flexible – ideally a few hours a week, remotely (with phone/email access).
You will bring: Good communication skills, patience, confidence when using phone/email, and ideally some knowledge of local health, care, or community (VCSE) services in Bedford.
We will give you: Training, guidance on local health and care service provision, and the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s daily lives.

Administration

Admin, Basic IT skills - internet & email, Reading & Writing

Good communication skills, patience, confidence when using phone/email, and ideally some knowledge of local health, care, or community (VCSE) services in Bedford.

We will give you: Training, guidance on local health and care service provision, and the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s daily lives.
