What you will be doing

We have a number of roles with Scout groups in the MK43 / MK44 postcode areas. Harold, Turvey, Sharnbrook, Oakley.
Scouts create opportunities for young people. Beavers(age6-8), Cubs(8-10), Scouts(10-14), & Explorers(14-18). From crafts & cooking to canoeing & camping young people get to develop skills for life.
Free online training, DBS, uniform, and feeling of accomplishment.

How Long Do I Have To Volunteer For?

You need to commit to a regular volunteering opportunity of around an hour a week. The table below shows the commitment required for each level of the DofE.

Bronze

Minimum time: 3 or 6 months

You must do one of your volunteering, Physical or Skills sections for 6 months, the others for 3.

Silver

Minimum time: 6 or 12 months

If you heven't achieved your Bronze Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 12 months.

Gold

Minimum time: 12 or 18 months

If you heven't achieved your Silver Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 18 months.
