No special skills required, just a willingness to get stuck in and have a go. This is a practical conservation activity so participants would need to be physically able to wade in water, negotiate slope into and out of pond, and be able to dig or pull vegetation.

Volunteering on conservation projects gives you a real sense of achievement and the knowledge you're making a real difference to wildlife and the environment. Our days are fun, give you gentle exercise (or not so gentle, depending how hard you want to work!) and give you the chance to learn new skills, meet new people and spend time in a beautiful calming wildlife site.

We will be on site from 10am until 3.30pm but if you make your own way to site you are free to come and go as you need.
