Warmly greeting members as they arrive and offering friendly conversation

Assisting with setting up the room, preparing tables, and organising resources

Supporting the serving of lunch, refreshments, and light snacks

Providing companionship and engaging members in conversation and social activities

Assisting individuals with mobility challenges to move safely and comfortably

Helping facilitate gentle exercise, games, or wellbeing activities

Supporting weekly outings when required

Tidying the space at the end of the session and helping with closing down

Administration,Advice, Information & Support,Befriending, Buddying & Mentoring,Catering,Events & Stewarding

Admin, Cleaning & Tidying, Language Skills, Organising & Planning

Kind, patient, and respectful Comfortable engaging with older adults from diverse backgrounds Good communication and listening skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team A positive attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference

You gain practical experience in: Communication and active listening Teamwork and coordination Supporting vulnerable adults Event and activity facilitation Safeguarding awareness

We need volunteers weekly during Luncheon Club sessions. Flexibility is welcome, and regular attendance helps build trust and continuity with members. The Club meets every Monday (excluding public holidays) from 10:00 AM to 15:00 PM
