We run monthly Making Time for Black Health Events serving the Black community by providing access to Black therapists. Do you have 1-2 hours a day to work from home and passionate about boosting mental health in the local community?

You will play a critical role creating, planning and implementing events which may require some evening or weekend work.

Regularly present new events to the events team and marketing team.

Lead on planning and organising events, recruiting and training volunteers.

Create each event schedule and event plan from start to finish and allocate roles.

Administration,Fundraising,Marketing, PR & Media,Events & Stewarding

Admin, Creative & Design, IT Skills - good, Organising & Planning, Fundraising, Marketing

You will need to have: - Minimum 2 years Event management experience. - Strong administration skills. - Creative problem-solving skills. - Ability to work remotely. - Good communication skills. - Strong organisational and multitasking skills. - Good IT skills and can use WhatsApp and Google Drive. - Ability to meet deadlines. - Interest in working with a small charitable organisation and willingness to work as part of a small team. - Interest in addressing health inequalities and tackling mental health stigmas.

Your time will make a meaningful difference in promoting mental health awareness and supporting the Black community. Flexibility: Enjoy the convenience of remote work by choosing your own flexible hours working one to two hours a day. Give back reward: Your contribution will help a small Black mental health non-profit CIC organisation grow to help more people in the community. Skill Development: Enhance your event management skills in a new sector. Networking: Grow your network by connecting with community leaders, charities etc. Recognition: Receive acknowledgment from Making Time for Black Mental Health Events Team and a reference for your contribution.
