Working in a community cafe, which is based in a Methodist church.
Serving customers, preparing food, using a coffee machine, clearing tables, washing up, being a listening ear for people who are lonely.

Befriending, Buddying & Mentoring,Catering,General & Helping

Cleaning & Tidying

The ability to follow food hygiene rules, to prepare food and drinks, to chat to people. Be friendly and sociable.

The volunteer will get experience working with a range of people. Trained in level two food hygiene. Be part of a community. Will learn simple catering skills and waiting skills.

We would require a time commitment of at least 5 hours a week. Specifically looking for someone who has Monday 10-3 or Thursday 10-3 available.
