Key Responsibilities:
1. Assemble Screens:
Lightweight Screen: Assemble and disassemble the lightweight screen (8.5ft x 6ft) using a series of poles and attaching it to tripods. Requires two people.
Professional Screen: Assemble and disassemble the professional zip-up screen (10ft x 7ft) with an aluminium concertina frame and attaching legs. Requires two people.
2. Set up Projector:
Align the projector with the screen, ensuring accurate positioning.
For Bromley and West Wickham locations, set up rear projection with the projector behind the screen.
Connect the HDMI cable from the Blu-Ray player to the projector.
3. Sound Setup:
Connect the audio output from the Blu-Ray player to the amplifier.
Set up speakers on tripods on either side of the screen.
Connect the speakers to the amplifier.
4. Test Installation:
Run the movie to check for proper focus and adjust sound levels as needed.
Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly before the screening begins.
Skills and Qualities:
Technical Aptitude: Ability to handle and set up technical equipment such as projectors, screens, and sound systems.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring all equipment is correctly set up and functioning properly.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, especially during the assembly and disassembly of screens.
Problem-Solving: Quick-thinking to troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.

Opportunity to meet new people, access to and reserved seating at any film being shown, opportunity to develop new skills around marketing, branding, social media management, social events and being part of a team

We show two films a month, with more films is leading on a season. Films are in the evening - on a Thursday and Friday and will usually take around four hours.
