Volunteer Webmaster

Key responsibilities:
• Modify Bromley Homeless website content as required by staff.
• Administer WordPress including monitoring plugin upgrades, checking Wordfence reports and UpdraftPlus backups.
• Liaise with Bluehost in the event of problems occurring with the site hosting.
• Keep an eye on the dashboards for Google Search Console, Analytics and Ads for nonprofits.Take remedial action if any anomalies occur.
• Keep an eye on UptimeRobot reports. Take remedial action should any anomalies occur.
• Undertake training as required to support the above role.

Skills and Experience:

Essential
- WordPress Website design and managing updates and the health of the Website including;
- WordPress Plugins
- Elementor
- SEO
- Managing WordPress backups
- Experience in managing Google Analytics
- knowledge of DNS records
- Hosting backend control panel

Desirable
Experience and knowledge of
- HTML coding
- CSS coding
