Help on one of our ParkBathe mindful walks that run weekly in 12 local parks throughout Bromley, Croydon, Lambeth and Southwark and learn the art of Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku) to support your own wellbeing at the same time as giving back to your community. Forest Bathing is a Japanese health practice that involves simple sensory exercises to relax, reduce stress and feel grounded (no water) The role is low-ask - most Ambassadors volunteer one hour a month in a park where we operate supporting the Walk Leader by signing attendees in and Walking at the rear of the group. No specific skills or experience are required other than a wish to support your local community and to help people improve their wellbeing. Being a good listener, being friendly and open are all beneficial.

Most of our Ambassadors volunteer each month not only to give back to their community, but because they leave the sessions feeling calm, grounded and delighted that people who arrived feeling stressed have left feeling very relaxed and joyful.

All adults 18+ We currently work with refugees, and several already volunteer for us. so are happy to work with asylum seekers. We can accommodate some access needs depending on which location the Ambassador chooses to assist at.
