We are seeking users of Lloyd Park Croydon to join our new committee as a Secretary, Treasurer and a Member. The roles would be ad-hoc and will work closely with the committee chair to ensure any grievances, concerns and positive aspects of the Park are communicated to the Council. The committee will also act as the first point of contact from the council e.g. If there were to be consultation, events or developments. People joining the Committee should be park users and have some understanding of the park's dynamics and activities. The roles are not onerous, with the Chair overseeing the communication. The group already has 30 members on its mailing list.

As the Group evolves, we would hope to be able to run annual events e.g. Easter, Halloween. There may be some fundraising involved; however, this is not in the immediate future.
