What you will be doing

We provide food to individuals and families in need of groceries and / or cooked / ready meals, including vulnerable adults and persons in reduced financial circumstances. We need volunteers to help with collection and distribution of food - especially if you have transport (bike, car, even a bus pass will help).
Volunteers and drivers needed
We are a small group of volunteers providing food
and health care support to people in need.

With the economic crisis, more and more people need our help.
And we need help to continue the service!

Drivers to help with deliveries: a couple of hours on a Tuesday.
Support workers to help with food drops.

How Long Do I Have To Volunteer For?

You need to commit to a regular volunteering opportunity of around an hour a week. The table below shows the commitment required for each level of the DofE.

Bronze

Minimum time: 3 or 6 months

You must do one of your volunteering, Physical or Skills sections for 6 months, the others for 3.

Silver

Minimum time: 6 or 12 months

If you heven't achieved your Bronze Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 12 months.

Gold

Minimum time: 12 or 18 months

If you heven't achieved your Silver Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 18 months.
