What you will be doing

Croydon Commitment run regular mock interview sessions at schools and colleges so
students can learn first-hand about the best way to present themselves to an employer.
Volunteers from the business sector interview participants and provide immediate
feedback and tips on how to prepare for future interviews and make a positive impression.
This session is for Year 12 creative arts students. 5-7 volunteers are required.

How Long Do I Have To Volunteer For?

You need to commit to a regular volunteering opportunity of around an hour a week. The table below shows the commitment required for each level of the DofE.

Bronze

Minimum time: 3 or 6 months

You must do one of your volunteering, Physical or Skills sections for 6 months, the others for 3.

Silver

Minimum time: 6 or 12 months

If you heven't achieved your Bronze Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 12 months.

Gold

Minimum time: 12 or 18 months

If you heven't achieved your Silver Award, you must extend your volunteering or the longer of your Physical or Skills sections to 18 months.
