If you have experience caring for a loved one, your understanding can make a real difference to another carer. As a
Carers Champion, you'll use your lived experience to provide peer support, helping carers feel heard, understood
and less alone.
Across the UK, millions of people provide unpaid care for family members and friends, often while balancing work,
family responsibilities and their own wellbeing. Many experience stress, isolation and exhaustion, and can find it
difficult to access support. By volunteering as a Carers Champion, you can help ensure carers receive support,
encouragement and connection they need during challenging times.
