The Box Moor Trust is a registered charity that, since 1594 has been managing grazing and amenity land on behalf of the local community in Hemel Hempstead and Bovingdon.

The work the Box Moor Trust does aims to attract wildlife and increase the biodiversity of the local area whilst making the land open and accessible for the local community to enjoy.

We also offer environmental awareness opportunities to instil a lifelong enjoyment of nature and the environment and bring people into contact with the outdoors.
The Box Moor Trust is governed by a Board of up to 12 Trustees. In accordance with our constitution: “The Scheme” (found here), the Trust will hold a Trustee Election in October.
We are looking for new trustees.
The Election will be held over the course of one week, beginning at 8am on Wednesday 8th October 2025 and ending at 8pm on Wednesday 15th October 2025.
Nominations will be accepted on or before the 1st September 2025.
Eligible candidate details will be shared with the electorate prior to voting.
Any prospective candidate or elector must reside within the Trust’s Area of Benefit and be registered on the electoral roll. We will confirm this before accepting your candidacy and/or eligibility to vote.
