- If you share our passion for restoring Shillingstone’s little piece of the old S&D Railway, why not become a volunteer? You don’t need any special skills, although if you do have suitable experience or qualifications, so much the better. We want to expand our band of workers willing to give us a few hours of their time to help with the many tasks. These range from general help around the site to track-laying, property maintenance and gardening. You can be very flexible in the time that you give.
