Volunteer Centre Dorset are looking for a Volunteer Driver to support the Volunteer Help SchemeYou will need to be over 26 and hold a current driving licence. The role involves providing support to a 3-man team whose primary role is supporting the elderly and disabled with basic gardening help including hedge and grass cutting in the local area. The scheme runs 3 days per week from April on wards and hours are negotiable. Although we already have 2 drivers, we are looking for a third to complement existing work. All volunteers will receive training in Health and Safety and First Aid, as well as Brushwood cutters and strimmers courses. Travelling expenses will be paid within the local area.

Traing will be provided including, Brushwood cutters and strimers, First aid, Health and safety , plus if required a chainsaw course may be available working with a friendly small team one day a week up to 6 hours maximum
