Practical Conservation Volunteers (PCV’s) are asked to help carry out tasks on a variety of sites throughout Christchurch and East Dorset. These are often on our Nature Reserves, but on occasion may link with partner organisations or departments, to carry out tasks in other areas. The tasks chosen assist with the management and care of the site, according to the site-specific management plan. These are in turn approved by Natural England to ensure best conservation practice. PCV’s help on days specified by the Countryside Team, and each session will be led by a member of that team.
These sessions are available throughout East Dorset. From the Wimborne area, through Verwood, West Moors, Ferndown and Christchurch.
Please contact us for site locations.
