A fantastic opportunity to support the upcoming generation of our workforce!
I'm looking for volunteers to support the various workshops which we deliver in schools across the Dorset area. Our sessions are shaped around helping young people beginning to think about their career choices and the education routes they can take to get there. We also teach them about enterprise, financial capabilities, the skills and qualities which they need to secure their dream (or first!) job. Many of the students we work with write their very first CV with us, as we also set up mock interviews for them to experience.
Each workshop is led from the front by a member of the Young Enterprise team and all resources are provided by us. Each workshop we deliver has been funded by a local business.
We ask business volunteers to mentor and support our young people during the series of tasks and activities within our workshops. I am looking for volunteers to spare as much or as little time as they would like to commit. We also encourage volunteers to share their own personal career journey with the students as well as the best tips and tricks of their trade.
To find out more and find out a list of the dates and locations of our workshops please contact Mel Vasileva on email@example.com or on 07384 215345.
