Healthy Homes Dorset is a service provided by the Centre for Sustainable Energy and Evolve Home Energy Solutions, managed by Dorset Council Council and funded by Public Health Dorset.
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to help those struggling in your area to stay warm and healthy in their homes and to lower their fuel bills.
No experience is necessary; we'll be giving free training on Energy Essentials which will cover all the basics of what you need to know, as well as training throughout your time as a volunteer. You'll also receive lots of on-the-job, first hand experience when you're out and about with our advisors and all expenses will be reimbursed!

Primarily we are looking for local people who would be willing to support Healthy Homes Dorset by helping us to deliver energy advice drop-in events in venues such as local libraries, giving talks to local groups and accompanying advisors on home visits to advise on energy saving changes.
We expect our volunteers to have an interest in environmental issues and climate change and/or supporting local people in need. We also expect volunteers to commit to one day a week; however this may change depending on how busy we are.
Being able to help others in fuel poverty, gaining training on various energy related subjects, and having all expenses reimbursed
