We are looking for men and woman to mentor men or woman who are in the criminal justice system, either leaving custody or serving a community sentence,

Mentoring can include a wide range of things.
we like to call it, walking along side someone o there journey and trying to help them improve there situation

Some of the things we do

Collection from the prison gate.
Assisting to appointments, such as housing, probation, mental health, job center, assisting with claiming benefits and cv writing , registering with health service and assisting to engage with these services,
referral to other agency's to further social and personal support when required

It could be face to face or we are offering a telephone mentoring service.



Volunteers will be DBS checked, Trained in Mentoring and will be able to access a wide range of training that we can access or provide including.
Mental Health
Substance misuse
boundaries
as well as gaining a great insight and experience in this lie of work and receive ongoing support
