To assist with environmental education activities such as guided walks, school holiday and weekend family activity sessions and school group visits.
Timings vary depending upon type of event eg. guided walk 2 hours usually afternoons, family events 2 hours usually mornings, both weekdays and weekends, school visits either 2 or 4 hours, between 10 am and 2.30pm weekdays.

Lorton Meadows Conservation Centre, Lorton Meadows Nature Reserve, Lorton Lane, Weymouth, DT3 5QH


From Weymouth - go towards Dorchester on the B3159 (Dorchester Road), after the pedestrian lights at Wey Valley School, take the 2nd turning on the right - Lorton Lane and follow to the end. From Dorchester - go towards Weymouth on the A354, take 1st exit on 1st roundabout and 3rd exit on next roundabout, go along Littlemoor Road. At mini roundabout, take 1st exit - Dorchester Road (B3159). Take 3rd turning on left - Lorton Lane and follow to the end.

Just enthusiasm, ability to work with children and interest in wildlife conservation, possibly some wildlife identification skills, or willingness to learn.
