Administration Volunteer

• Taking telephone and email bookings and emailing out booking confirmations
• Assist with the production of promotional publicity for activities at the farm and assist with the production of newsletters
• Keeping website up to date using a content management system (no specific website skills needed)
• Manage enquiries and correspondence (e-mail, letters, delivered packages etc.) Taking messages for staff
• Processing applications for other volunteering roles within Woodlands Farm Trust
• Filing and photocopying
• Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to Woodlands Farm Volunteering policies and procedures
• Keeping databases up to date
• Assist colleagues whenever necessary

Administration,Advice, Information & Support

Admin, Basic IT skills - internet & email, Evaluating & Reviewing, Good IT Skills, Organising & Planning, Reading & Writing

• Excellent and effective communication skills • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office • Must be computer competent • Enjoy being part of a busy team. • Be able to work within the policies and procedures or the Woodlands Farm Trust following all recommended Health and Safety procedures

You’re going to work in a great team of volunteers and meet new people. Getting involved in daily tasks will help you to improve your skills, to gain more and boost your CV. A full induction will be provided for you in your first few days. Your volunteer manager will be there to help you and provide you with adequate training to help you fulfil your tasks and objectives.

We require a minimum commitment of half a day.
