Two On-site Event Manager volunteers are needed to be part of the Events Team.

Managing the event time schedule program.
Managing pre-event meetings with the event team, volunteers and stakeholders.
Managing the pre-event tracking spreadsheet to schedule email communications to volunteers, stakeholders.
Managing event team and volunteers by assigning events roles to fit in with the event time schedule program.
Sourcing goody bag items and product donations.
Event management responsibility for all event speakers, panel, sponsors, exhibitors, volunteers.
Event day organisation and managing attendee list and registration desk.
Organising the raffle prize draw and charity event fundraising.
Carrying out administrative tasks relating to pre-event management and on-site event management.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Minimum 3 years event management experience, any industry. Strong Eventbrite software skills. Basic Canva software skills. Ability to write strong event content. Knowledge of how to promote an event. Strong administration and IT skills and Google Drive. Use of WhatsApp to communicate with events team. Creative problem-solving skills. Ability to work remotely without supervision. Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines. Good communications skills. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Proactively communicate new ideas or event management changes with confidence. Interest in working with a small charitable organisation and willingness to work as part of a small team. Interest in mental health and addressing health inequalities by tackling stigmas.

End of event references will be provided by request via email. Travel expenses. Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt. You can make a meaningful difference in promoting mental health awareness and supporting the Black community.

Ability to commit to 5 - 6 hours event volunteering
