This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a confident telephone manner, and good keyboard/typing abilities. You should be comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and enjoy supporting a friendly, community‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities include:

Answering telephone calls and taking accurate messages
Greeting visitors and providing a warm, professional welcome
Assisting with guided tours of the Centre
Receiving and sorting post and parcel deliveries
General administration support
Filing, organising documents, and maintaining orderly records
Photocopying and supporting day‑to‑day office tasks

Administration

Admin, Basic IT skills - internet & email, Organising & Planning

Good communication and telephone manner, keyboard/typing skills, familiar with Word, Excel & Outlook.

We offer flexible volunteering options to suit your availability. Our core hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm, and you can choose either: Half‑day sessions Morning: 9:00am – 1:00pm Afternoon: 1:00pm – 5:00pm Full‑day sessions 9:00am – 5:00pm Whether you can join us for a few hours or a full day, your time makes a meaningful difference — and we’ll work with you to find a schedule that fits around your commitments.
