What you will be doing

We are looking for someone to take over from our current Treasurer. Fownhope Community Land Trust (FCLT) is a small voluntary body currently applying to be recognised by HMRC as tax exempt. You will be literate and numerate to manage an online bank account, keep and produce simple annual accounts using an existing spreadsheet, complete online forms and returns, advise the Board on the Trust's financial position. As a Board member your spoken and written English will enable you to communicate in writing and at meetings of a small group. Time Commitment

2-3 hours per month including attending 3-4 meetings and an AGM each year. Meetings are currently held on Monday afternoon but it may be possible to reschedule these. Most tasks can be done at a time that you choose. There are deadlines for annual reports and these will be made clear in advance.

FCLT cannot invest in equipment to support a volunteer. We are a very small organisation with very limited funds. We meet in private homes and try to ensure these are accessible but sometimes steps or other barriers are unavoidable.
