Real Birth Studio CIC is a not-for-profit community interest company dedicated to providing inclusive, evidence-based antenatal and postnatal education. We work with families from all backgrounds—particularly those who may face barriers to accessing traditional services—to build knowledge, confidence, and support networks.

We are looking for a Volunteer Fundraiser to help us grow our impact and reach more families locally.

About the Role

As a Volunteer Fundraiser, you will play a key role in supporting our community programmes by helping us to identify and secure funding.

This may include:

Researching local and national funding opportunities
Supporting grant and bid writing
Assisting with community fundraising ideas and campaigns
Helping us tell our story and demonstrate our impact

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds. You might be:

Interested in community work, health, or maternity services
Looking to build skills in fundraising or the charity sector
Organised, proactive, and able to communicate clearly

No prior fundraising experience is required—just enthusiasm and a commitment to our values.

📍 Location: Herefordshire (flexible/remote options available)
⏱ Time Commitment: Flexible (approx. 2–4 hours per week)

Strong written communication (useful for bids and applications) Research skills to identify funding opportunities Attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Enthusiasm for community impact and social change
