About our ‘energy bites’
The homeless in London are some of the most at risk communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. Unable to self-isolate and with limited to no access to a healthy diet, we are making and providing them with nutritious ‘energy balls’ to help boost their immune system and fight off the virus.
What you will be doing
You will be collecting our handmade energy bites from our office on Cazenove Road, Stoke Newington and delivering them to one of our partnering charities in Finsbury Park via bike.
We are looking for someone to give no more than an hour of their time every Tuesday at around 4pm to make the delivery.
Volunteers will collect orders from our store (3a Cazenove Road) and deliver to our partnering charity in Finsbury Park.
3a Cazenove Road
Nearest station is Stoke Newington. Buses 67, 76, 393 and 476 stop at Stoke Newington Station, a 1min walk from our location.

We are looking for volunteers living in the immediate local area who have a good level of fitness, are personable, have a ‘can do’ attitude and have their own bike with panniers. It is vital to have access to GPS maps or a good knowledge of the area, good personal hygiene. No previous volunteer experience is needed for this role. Ideally, the successful volunteer would be available for four consecutive Tuesdays to start with.
The homeless are especially negatively impacted by COVID-19 crisis. Many have compromised immune systems, poor nutrition, and hygiene and are more susceptible to the virus and to developing complications. By helping us provide this nutritional support, you will be giving the homeless community a chance of a healthier and safer life.
