Social Media and Web Content volunteer

AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT AND ADVOCACY CENTRE

We need talented, dynamic, and creative individuals to join us as volunteers. We need a visual genius with an eye for details, organised, good writer, and social media addict, highly motivated and brilliantly aware of the voluntary and community sector.

The Role includes:

• Work with the project team in the production of social media and blog imagery and content from concept to execution. You will also assist in the management of Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube accounts and help produce social imagery.

• You will have an attention to detail and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment. The role will require you to play an integral part in identifying key influencers and partnerships for blog content, choosing and editing exclusive imagery and coordinating features with external parties.

• Be responsible for capturing content for social media and blogs. We also need you to suggest ideas and develop concepts for our advocacy work and campaign for social change.

• Able to produce monthly feedback for our social media channels.

• Have Wordpress template experience, a basic HTML understanding and moving image creation and editing.

• With a good knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word/ Excel/ Outlook.
