Food Parcel Sorting Volunteers

We're seeking helpful and enthusiastic volunteers to assist us with sorting goods and items for regular food parcels for older people in our community. The people we support are local residents ranging from 50 to 97 years in age.

Your tasks will include:
- dividing food donations
- weighing and bagging goods
- sorting fresh produce
- checking stock
- lifting and carrying goods
- clearing and tidying the space at the end of your volunteering shift.

This role will take place every Tuesday from 10am until 2pm at Woodberry Grove, in Woodberry Down N4, starting from Tuesday 5th January. Please get in touch with Samantha or Tracey if you can help!

This role will enable you to support other local residents in urgent need. It will enable you to adapt to a busy environment, and give you an insight into older peoples lives in a safe setting.
