Bridge the Gap Ending digital poverty C.I.C is a Community interest organisation based in Hackney, with aims to support families and the wider community. We aim to bridge the gap by empowering our community through supporting them with technology equipment, digital skills and Data Sim cards.
We aim to enable a network of parents to create change within their own local community, in turn inspiring other parents and families to be the change they want to see. We want to give families and the community the ability to change their own futures through empowering them with education, internet connectivity and technology
We would love for you to join our warm and friendly team and play a part in creating our future.


Role Description
To support people of basic tech knowledge
To support/guide someone to set up emails
To support individuals to use their tech devices safely


Commitment
The role requires a weekly commitment of around 2-4 hours on a weekly basis.

Befriending, Buddying & Mentoring,Community Work,IT, Technology & Websites,General and Helping

Basic IT skills - internet & email, Good IT Skills, Organising & Planning, Reading & Writing

Technical knowledge basic skills for IT to support others to set up basic accounts such as email etc or zoom patience Good time management, being able to manage your time wisely Good organisational skills Great Team working skills great initiative skills
