Currently we are looking for people to support with Cook and Eat sessions to be run throughout the Summer holidays (beginning Tuesday 27th July 2021 for 5 weeks).
The sessions will last 1.5 hours, with 30 minutes set up and 30 minutes clear down either side.
Locations and times
Hackney Marsh Adventure Playground, Daubeney Fields, (off Kingsmead Way), London E9 5PP - Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10am-12.30pm
Shoreditch Adventure Playground, Mintern St, London N1 5EF - Thursdays 10am-12.30pm
What you would be doing
As a volunteer, you’ll have a range of responsibilities, including:
Setting up the venue including prepping furniture, equipment and ingredients as required
Welcoming participants and supporting them during the session
Assisting with delivery as required by the delivery team
Supporting with maintaining food safety, health and safety and COVID guidance measures
Ensuring that the venue is kept tidy and safe through the session
Assisting with clean-up after the session ends
Assisting with transporting equipment to sessions
