The world is a totally different place since Sutton House & Breaker’s Yard shut its door in March last year since the start of the pandemic. We are finally reopening our doors to welcome visitors, but things are little bit different from before.

Our Volunteer Tour Guides will take visitors on a one-way pre-booked tour, managing visitor flow and proactively demonstrating and maintaining Covid secure measures. They will perform vital fire and security responsibilities and oversee the collection.

A vital part of the role will be sensitively limiting the face to face interactions with visitors; this means being friendly, sharing information and engaging stories but reducing conversation to the minimum.
