We are looking for highly-motivated and enthusiastic Play Volunteers to join our friendly school team in September 2021. Volunteers will spend time with our children (5-11 years old) in the school playground during break and lunch times, and after school.
You may be refereeing or joining in a football match, or encouraging children to develop their catching, running, or skipping skills. You may join in quieter activities, such as reading, drawing, or playing board games, or you may simply be a friendly face for the children to talk to. There will also be opportunities for developing after school clubs which our children enjoy. You will also accompany classes on a range of school trips.
We would really like you to make a connection with the children at our school. For this reason, we would require a minimum two months’ commitment for this role and a minimum attendance of two times per week. We are happy to discuss exact hours with each individual volunteer but as an indication you could be required for this role at the times below:
• 8am to 11am
• 12:15pm to 2pm
• 3:30pm to 5pm
