What will you be doing?
AVP Britain is a registered national charity, which helps people learn how to manage anger, handle conflict, and build more positive relationships with others. AVP Britain is a volunteer led organisation and we value all our volunteers equally. We work together in a mutually supportive way, and do all we can to help you to enjoy your time with us and get from it what you need. We are looking for a volunteer who can be in the office at least half a day per week. Your role may include some or all of the following;

-Managing the rota for other volunteers
-Responding to queries by phone or email
-Processing applications to join our course
-Maintaining a database of participants
-Processing completed coursework
-Completing monthly reporting
-Project development
-Report writing
-Research
Full training and support offered.

What are we looking for?
Ideally you will have had experience in an office based administrative role or performing the duties outlined within another role. You are comfortable working with minimal supervision and ideally we'd like you to be able to commit to 1 day per week in the office

What difference will you make?
This role is important to maintain the efficient running of the office and ensuring participants can progress smoothly (administratively) through the course. There may also be opportunities to be involved in other aspects of our programmes.

This is a great opportunity to help with the administration of a charity that provides vital support within the community. You'll be working with a supportive and friendly team, and there may also be opportunities to be involved in other areas such as programme development and contact liaison.
