The Beecholme Community Garden is looking for a person that enjoys being in a group of diverse people, enjoys the natural world in its many aspects and would like to commit for the stability of all this.

We need somebody happy to attend weekly on Sundays afternoon to help to organise the tasks for others and
to do gardening also. Having experience in gardening would be good but not fundamental as training will be
provided for as long as needed. A journal will be kept to help with the organisation. The normal tasks involve tending the compost, repotting plants, weeding, watering, training plants, sowing, hoeing and so on. There is
no pressure to do a specific amount of work. Currently the time will be 2 till 6 .

It is important the volunteer enjoys meeting new people regularly , is naturally welcoming and also able to set boundaries when needed.

Gardening experience and the chance of doing own experimentation. Possibility of developing a long term project according to personal interests. Possibility of promoting the garden in different forums and meeting other organisations. Develop creative projects for garden users and other groups. Experience meeting people in a variety of settings. Wild plant identification and foraging. Supportive atmosphere, friendship and reliability.
