DJ FACTORY is a new programme from the Bubble Club supporting learning disabled DJs to learn to use DJ equipment and perform live at Bubble Club events and other mainstream venues. This is a brand new programme which is already creating career pathways for many learning disabled people who do not otherwise have employment options. We are looking for people to join our team supporting DJ workshops and live gigs as this project grows and we begin to work with more venues.

This project would suit people with DJ skills and a passion for supporting learning disabled and. Neuro-diverse people and those from marginalised communities.

Do let us know if you have experience with any of these skills as they can always be useful: Video editing, Photography, Music, Graphic Design, Social Media, Events promotion, Teaching, Support work.

- Experience working with and supporting learning disabled artists and individuals. - Be part of a fun, creative and supportive team working on creative projects and live music events. - Support a project that helps marginalised people in our community to learn skills, gain creative employment and contribute actively in their community. - Free pizza from Crate Brewery (when they're feeling nice!)

Workshops take place on Tuesdays 1-4pm at Crate Brewery, Hackney Wick. We have live gigs at this venue every other week. We also have gigs at out own club nights taking place 6 times per year at 93 Feet East, Brick Lane. We are hoping to open up this programme to more venues in the coming months, reaching out to venues could be another task supported by volunteers if it was of interest and in the volunteer’s skill set. We have space for 2 more volunteers currently, and we expect them to be available for a minimum of 2 sessions per month but weekly support would be welcome. More spaces may become available as the project grows, so watch this space
