Community Work

Creative & Design, Language Skills, Reading & Writing

- Be friendly, calm and confident working with children in a group setting - Feel comfortable reading aloud to small groups - Be able to follow light guidance and support a child-led activity - Be reliable, punctual and present in shared spaces - Enthusiastic Full training & a facilitator guide, no technical or STEM experience needed.

Volunteers will gain hands-on experience supporting creative, inclusive education in a real community setting. They’ll receive a facilitator guide and a copy of the book, build confidence working with children, and be part of an imaginative, values-led project that makes tech accessible to all. Travel expenses are reimbursed, and volunteers will be prioritised for future paid or voluntary roles with ThreadPoint Foundation.

Sessions take place on Saturdays, 10:30am–1:30pm We would love volunteers who can join us regularly and become a familiar face in the community. However, we understand that life is busy — flexibility is absolutely welcome.
