No experience needed — just enthusiasm and warmth. Various Saturdays at venues across Hackney throughout 2026. Regular volunteers welcome, but flexibility supported.

ThreadPoint is delivering free, family-friendly LEGO workshops across Hackney throughout 2026 — and we’d love you to be part of it.

Each month, we bring children and families together to build, explore and learn through hands-on creative activities in welcoming community spaces.

We’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help create a warm, positive atmosphere at our sessions. You’ll help welcome families, support children during building activities, assist with light set-up and pack-down, and simply be an encouraging presence in the room.

No specialist knowledge is needed — just patience, enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved.

Sessions take place on Saturdays at the following locations - timings of the event depend on the date and locations:

• 23 May – Morland Community Centre
• 20 June – Holmleigh Community Centre
• 25 July – Woodberry Down Community Hub
• 15 August – Nightingale Estate Community Space
• 19 September – Laburnum Street Community Room
• 24 October – Daubeney Road Estate Hub
• 7 November – Homerton Library
• 5 December – Napier Grove Community Hall

We would love volunteers who can join us regularly and become a familiar face in the community. However, we understand that life is busy — flexibility is absolutely welcome.

Come build something meaningful with us.
