Looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to run a storytime/rhymetime at Pollards Hill Library. If you enjoyed reading books and singing to your kids and want to help bring community together and encourage kids to read from an early age, then please do consider applying. If you'd like to see one of our regular storytimes in action, then do also get in touch about this and we can arrange this plus a quick chat about the role.

Community Work

Reading and singing with groups, a lot of patience with small children, and creative planning is a plus.

Other volunteers have said it's a chance to keep doing something they enjoy after their own kids have grown out of it, it feels good to benefit the community, it's a chance to meet new people, and it's just a lot of fun!

1 hour a week, usually in term time (but if you'd like to do every week then we're not saying no!)

Further location details may be provided below.
