What's involved:
>Helping us to manage social media accounts
>Submitting event listings to a variety of websites and publications?
>Helping us to select and organise images to share and promote our work
>Using social media to communicate with and grow our digital audiences
>Developing an understanding of the property’s story and history, increasing your general knowledge about the place and upcoming programming.?
>Following brand guidelines and delivering a consistent message and marketing approach that follows the National Trust ‘tone of voice
>Establishing good working relationships and regularly liaising with other staff and volunteers
>There might occasionally be some other activities that are of interest to you, that we could use your help with

Admin, Creative & Design, Good IT Skills, Organising & Planning, Photography

>Interested in digital media, nature and cultural heritage?? >Good with IT and able to work with the team through online collaboration tools ? >Self-motivated and able to work to deadlines? >Enjoy engaging people through social and digital media?(making Instagram / Facebook reels, posts, stories etc) >Passion for telling stories, with an eye for detail? >Able to meet on Mondays with the Senior Marcomms Officer to discuss and plan social media schedules for the week >Commit to further additional hours across the week volunteering either on site or remotely >Able to commit to giving your time on a regular long-term basis

>Help us reach new supporters and volunteers, so we can do more >Gain experience of working as part of a marketing team in a much-loved urban park >Help shape the way we talk to people online, and create campaigns that work >Gain real experience of using social media in a large organisation with a massive online presence >Become part of a friendly and dedicated team >Enhance your research, writing and communication skills >Put your abilities to use in supporting an important charitable cause You’d also be joining Europe’s largest conservation charity and the wider National Trust team proudly looking after 780 miles of coastline, over 250,000 hectares of land, over 500 historic houses, castles, ancient monuments, gardens, parks and nature reserves (including lighthouses, villages, pubs and a gold mine!). We are a unique charity welcoming millions of people each year and with a vision to open up places for the benefit of everyone, for ever.
