As a charity, Citizens Advice Milton Keynes is obliged to report on the performance of its services to the organisations and agencies that fund them. Every year, they collect large volumes of data about their clients, the help they receive and the outcomes they achieve. If they failed to make that
information available they would not exist. Increasingly, they are required to report information more frequently and in more depth in order to justify their existence. The focus of this role will be to assist the management team to develop and apply innovative analytical approaches to monitoring the performance of their services and help with drafting reports that illustrate how they perform. By managing the development of statistical software you will also be involved in directly reporting data and analysis across the organisation.
This is a key operational role within the organisation. You will have a solid understanding of database structures; meticulous attention to detail; and expertise in data presentation.
Citizens Advice Milton Keynes is seeking an analyst with lots of initiative and someone who is a real team player.
Experience in statistical software and CRM databases, ideally in a reporting environment is absolutely essential. You need to be confident, assertive and be motivated by the contribution you make to accurately present the work conducted by the organisation, be able to read and write English and be confident in working with numbers, be proficient in all of the main Microsoft office packages, in particular Microsoft Excel.
Volunteers need to commit to a minimum of 8 hrs per week.
